Tournament Most Valuable Player - DANATI FRONDUTO
Danati Fronduto had a week. The San Jacinto commit did it on the mound and at the plate and propelled Montverde Academy to their 3rd FHSI Championship. On the week Fronduto went 7-9 with a 2B, 2-HR's, 2-BB's and 6 RBI's. He also pitched 4.1 scoreless innings with 7 strikeouts.
In the Championship Game, he went 2-3 with a run scored but also pitched a scoreless 5th, 6th and 7th innings with 5 strikeouts.
Tournament Most Valuable Pitcher - BRADY MONTROWL
Brady Montrowl kicked off the tournament with a dominant 5 inning performance against IMG Gray. IMG managed 3 hits and 3 walks against the lefty, but 12 of the 15 outs he got were by way of strikeout. The UCF commit's performance was just the start Lake Minneola needed to get past a tough IMG team and give his team a chance at playing in the Championship.
